Rental Requirements & Rates
All renters must be in possession of a valid Private Pilot license and a 3rd class Airman’s certificate; both documents must be presented in order to reserve a plane. Renters insurance is also required and can be purchased at the time of rental.
Aircraft-Specific Requirements:
Cirrus SR20-GTS
- No less than 15 hours in a similar make and model within the last year, with 5 hours within the last six months.
- Successful completion of a proficiency flight test given by a Performance Flight instructor
Cirrus SR22-GTS
- No less than 15 hours in a similar make and model within the last year, with 5 hours within the last six months.
- 250 total hours as PIC
- Instrument rating with recent currency
- Successful completion of a proficiency flight test given by a Performance Flight instructor
Cirrus SR22-GTS Turbo
- No less than 15 hours in a similar make and model within the last year, with 5 hours within the last six months. 5 hours must be in a Turbo model if past experience only includes a SR22-Gx
- 250 total hours as PIC
- Instrument rating with recent currency
- Successful completion of a proficiency flight test given by a Performance Flight instructor
- Completion of an Altitude Awareness program if flights will be made above 12,000’ msl (The Turbo is capable of cruising at FL250)
Diamond Twinstar
- No less than 10 hours in a similar make and model within the last year, with 5 hours within the last six months.
- 300 total hours as PIC
- Multi-engine rating with at least 50 hours as PIC in a multi-engine aircraft
- Instrument rating with recent currency
- Successful completion of a proficiency flight test given by a Performance Flight instructor
- Completion of an Altitude Awareness program if flights will be made above 12,000’ msl
